This time of year, with the longer days and lazy heat, can lead a person to self-reflection. For example, I was reflecting on the cinnamon bun I had for breakfast and how another one would taste really good right now. But that's just me. For you, this is the time to take stock of your many successes and reflect on the past year.
This month's bulletin is all about reflection. We've got activities to help you effectively use the Trend and Status Reports. We've also provided a who's who at SnapShot so you can reflect on who to call with specific questions.
SnapShot provides activities to help you look back at your 2007 students and take a look at “what worked”. You can also take the time to reflect on the students that didn't show a year's growth.
To do this log into SnapShot, click on the Help icon to access the Teacher's Self Analysis activities documents. You can print off the documents and work through the different activities that will help you find your students' achievement levels and learning gains, as well as finding the students in the lowest quartile.
All grade 3 FCAT Reading tests for 2006 are being rescored.
